Bea Arthur Passes

Today Bea Arthur passed away, at the age of 86. She is the second of TV's "Golden Girls" to leave us -- not to long ago, we lost Bea's TV mom, Estelle Getty.

These delightful "old ladies" gave us all so many wonderful memories in their long careers; we shall never forget them.

Rest in Peace, Bea.

Yea, I saw that. I remember growing up watching that show with my mom. Sad day indeed.

I didn't like Bea too much (mainly because of the "Maude") series" (til the Golden Girls, but I liked her character in it. Looking back at some of the characters she played and whether I liked that character or not tells me how good an actress she was.
