Another perfect evening and close to capacity crowd enjoyed the final night of the 2015 World Tennis Challenge at Memorial Drive.

The first match of the night was a win for the home crowd with South Australian Luke Saville (AUS) defeating Mikhail Youzhny (RUS) 7-6, 6-3. The result is fantastic boost for Saville on the eve of his departure to Melbourne for the Australian Open where he’s been awarded a wildcard entry.

The highly anticipated match between John McEnroe (USA) and Goran Ivanisevic (CRO) saw the big serving Croatian too good for McEnroe who just couldn’t repeat his previous night’s victory over Michael Chang (USA). The result of the FAST4 best of 3 sets was an Ivanisevic win 4-1, 4-2.

The final match of the night – a best of 3 sets FAST4 doubles between McEnroe/Saville and Ivanisevic/Youzhny gave McEnroe a little more to smile about with a 4-1, 4-2 win that also resulted in he and Saville taking out the 7th World Tennis Challenge event title.
