Tennis Legends to Visit the Bank of the West Classic!
Tickets for the 2012 Bank of the West Classic are on sale now! This year’s event will take place July 9-15 at Stanford University’s Taube Family Tennis Stadium and will once again showcase the best tennis players in the world, including defending champion Serena Williams.
Tennis fans visiting the tournament this year will not only see the some of the best players on the WTA tour but will also have the opportunity to see some of the biggest tennis legends of all time.
On the evenings of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, July 11h-13th, in addition to the main draw women's action the Bank of the West Classic host 14-time Grand Slam Champion Pete Sampras, four-time Grand Slam Champion Jim Courier and 1989 French Open champion Michael Chang in a series of exhibition matches.
The schedule of the exhibition matches is as follows:
Wed. July 11th - Sampras vs. Chang
7:00 pm
Thurs. July 12th - Sampras vs. Courier
7:00 pm
Fri. July 13th - Courier vs. Chang
NB 8:00 pm
